GAZ Group to send Gazelle, Gazon, Ural trucks to Saudi Arabia 2018

MOSCOW, Oct 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s automaker GAZ Group plans to start deliveries of its light commercial vehicles Gazelle, medium-duty trucks Gazon and heavy-duty trucks Ural to Saudi Arabia from 2018 under an agreement with Haka Group, the Industry and Trade Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

“Saudi Arabia is great in terms of a potential for commercial vehicles sales… (GAZ Group) also sees Saudi Arabia as a base for a further business development in the Arab Peninsula and the Gulf states,” the statement quoted Christian Kremer, Senior Vice President of sales and marketing of GAZ Group, as saying.
